Photo taken in West Valley City, Utah. Documented larval host plant for grass-feeding skippers such as the alkali skipper (Pseudocopaeodes eunus) and sandhill skipper (Polites sabuleti chusca). The uncas skipper (Hesperia uncas lasus) will also oviposit on this grass in the lab.
